Australia and Africa are predominantly tropical and subtropical. Both continent have quite large areas that are occupied by deserts. Part of Africa is located in the equatorial climate zone, where the climate is humid, while in Australia more than 90% of the territory is influenced by a dry climate and only on the coast is the climate humid.
