Science fiction writers wrote about things that seemed to be science fiction and now we use them in real life: internet, space rocket, robots, nuclear power. But there are no household companions still. It is much more difficult to make human-like robots. The problem is that scientist don't know how to make robots think like humans. Because robots can run, climb stairs and even look like human. One more obstacle is language. Robots have to understand figurative speech, gestures and emotional responses. All in all, in future household robots may be as common as home computers.
