"The Persistence of Memory" is the painting of Dali. It is painted in a surrealistic style. Surrealists' pictures always have an element of surprise in them. So there are is a quiet and dull landscape, background is painted with gold and blue. But what is curious about this picture it is the watch, that are melting. Dali wanted to show, how the time goes in some special hours. It doesn't run fast, it melts.
