He wanted to become a great musician, so he left and never returned. That's why Imelda prohibited all music in her family and started a shoemaking business. The movie dives deep into Mexican culture and family life, representing both in a way that it would be a joy to see. This is a charming story laced from beginning to end with Mexican traditions and culture.
