Some people believe that computer skills will be added as the fourth educational skill along with such reading, writing and math. Also there are people, who doesn't support this idea. In my opinion, computing should be added in primary school, because nowadays the world is ruled by technologies and you can't live in society without understanding the workings of computers. Moreover ability to use a computer for children means that they could use Internet resources for self-study. There are people who have the opposing opinion, for them computing should not be included in school course. They justify that position by claiming that children spend plenty of time with technology beyond school and usually successfully master computer skills on their own without any help of teachers or parents. In their viewpoint it would be reasonable to introduce more vital subjects, such as learning foreign languages or history. However veracious it sounds, I would not agree with the above mentioned idea. I agree that only in school children should be taught how to use computer and the Internet competently and safely. To conclude I am convinced that schools should pay more attention to children's computing skills.
