There are a lot of charity organisations in Russia. Charity organisations have different types: some of them help children, others help disabled people, elderly people, people, who lost their job, animals etc. I know that a lot of organisations allow people to donate either directly or online, through websites or to become a volunteer. I am a volunteer of Moscow Animals, this organisation is devoted to the welfare of homeless animals. Also my parents send money to Vera Hospice Charity Fund, which supports palliative and hospice care for children, adults and elderly.
