Nowadays a lot of people work from home. But is it good or not? Some people are convinced that it is good, because it is no difference between working in office or at home. However, the others believe that people shouldn't be allowed to work from the home because it is less productive than being in the office. I suppose that it is wonderful to have a chance to work from any place you like. Firstly, you could have more productive time, because you don't need to spend time on the way to your office. Sometimes people spend more than 2 hours everyday to get to their offices. Secondly, employees feel themselves more relaxed and more productive at home, because they don't need to talk to colleagues and have a lot of useless meetings. Thirdly it is more convenient for the employer, because company could cut costs on free lunches, office's rentals etc. Some opponents might stick to the point that you couldn't be productive at home. They suggest that there are a lot of distractions at home. Moreover they say that people do not spend much time actually working, they do another things. Nevertheless I do not support the above mentioned ideas. One should take into account the fact that in a modern world it is so easy to check the quality and duration of working time remotely using special software. Besides, there are much more distractions in the office. At home a person can easily manage his or her own time so that the personal life does not interfere with the working one. All in all I think working from any place you like - it is good way to work in the nearest future. Despite the arguments of various skeptics I would be happy to work from home.
