The problem of financing the science has always aroused heated debates. Some people are convinced that the science is the first thing to be financed in the modern world. However, the others believe that nowadays there are a lot of other things that should be financed. I suppose that financing science is very important. Firstly, medicine depends on science. All people around the world couldn't live without medical support. Secondly, science could help us to explore the universe. In future it could help us to get minerals, which are running out now. Thirdly financing science is good idea also because only science could help us to solve ecology problems. Even now there are microorganisms that eat oil products and plastic, but this researches should be financed to become widespread. Some opponents might stick to the point that science is not the first thing to be financed. They suggest that there are a lot of poor people, who need money badly. Moreover they say that a lot of researches fail and this researches should be financed with great sums of money to be successful. Nevertheless I do not support the above mentioned ideas. One should take into account the fact that science could help poor people to get cheap food and medical services. Besides, science could be financed not only by means of governments but also by means of businessmen. All in all I think science should be financed. Despite the arguments of various skeptics I am convinced that our society and environment need science to solve ecology problems, medical problems and lack of minerals.
