The problem of learning languages has always aroused heated debates. Some people are convinced that learning foreign languages is an important life skill. However, the others believe that nowadays it is not important at all, because we have got a lot of digital devices, which help us to translate any language. Actually I don't agree that learning foreign languages is not important in modern society. Firstly, learning foreign language could be a base for a future career. If you know a lot of languages, you will be a valuable professional. Secondly, it is impossible to get some job without knowing foreign language. For example, in politics or dipolmacy. Thirdly, even if you don't want to work in future, learning languages broadens your horizons. You could read books without translation or watch movies. Moreover you can meet good foreign friends during traveling. Some opponents might argue that learning languages is important. They say that technologies are improving every day and it is easy to communicate without learning foreign language. Moreover, some people say that English is only one language that should be learnt, because it is widespread all over the world. Nevertheless I do not support the above mentioned ideas. It is not comfortable to talk with someone using special devices. Moreover learning languages not only useful, but it also good training for your brains. All in all learning foreign languages is an important life skill. Despite the arguments of various skeptics I am convinced that learning language is really good idea for everyone.
