This photo was taken when I finished my first half marathon and even beat my goal time. The weather eased up throughout the race. I felt very prepared throughout the race and knew what to expect of my body. I was extremely excited to finally get moving after standing around in the cold for an hour. On this photo you can see me running with another participants. I keep this picture, because that it's over, and I feel extremely accomplished when i look on this photo. I set a goal and I accomplished it. If someone told me just six months ago that I would have trained and run a half marathon I would have thought they were joking. I'm now thinking about training for a full marathon, but it probably won't be anytime soon. Honestly if I can run a half, anyone can. I show this picture just to tell that the hardest part is signing up, so just go ahead and do it already!
