Hello, Mike! I am happy to hear from you! Congratulations for your success, chess is a difficult game, great job! Can you just imagine - I've already started visiting running classes. So I can give you a piece of advice. Even for seasoned racers, the days before a race can be stressful. Here are a few reminders to keep you on track in the critical days and hours before the starting gun fires. If you can, work out on the route where the race will take place so you can get familiar with where you’ll need to push and where you can cruise. Your best bet is to eat whatever has worked best for you. Don’t eat anything heavy within two hours of the race. A smoothie containing fruit and yogurt is always a good choice because it gives you a good balance of carbs and protein but not too much fiber. You don't need to lose your weight. Try to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night during your training. Listen to your body’s needs. Some people require more than that; some require less. But focus on being well-rested as race day approaches. I wish you good luck! Sincerely your, John
