Dozhinki in Belarus - the annual "fair of workers, who work in villages”, which has been held in Belarus since 1996. The festival honors the best agricultural workers. The festival usually begins with ceremony of guests and dancing teams walking. This procession involves all competitors. They walk through the central street and the destination point is main square. In front of this procession there is a flag with golden ears of wheat. The celebration usually lasts for 2 days. Solemn ceremony, reward ceremony and folklore performance take place on the first day. The fair and concerts take place on the second day. A state plan is prepared annually for the festival, according to this plan new facilities are built and existing facilities and communications are reconstructed.
